How long does it take for Solieworks
to create a web site?
We are always asked at Solieworks, "How fast can
we produce a web site?". The answer is simple.
FAST. But what about all that other time? Well...it
has been our experience that clients take long periods
of time to approve, supply content, and meet with our
team. If this sounds like you then a typical site can
be 2-4 months to complete correctly (also depending
a bit on the size).
With preparation, and a strong will power
we can get a site done in 2 weeks. For this to occur
the client must have all the information and content
for the site, be able to approve the flowcharts and
design quickly.
The best approach is to tell us
your time frame and we can lay out a schedule that we
both agree to.
In general the average site takes 4-8 weeks to produce
& debug.
How do I work with Solieworks?
1) You attend a FREE consultation
to discuss your project.
2) Solieworks proposes a contract that outlines your
needs based on the consultation.
3) On large projects a flowchart & database design
is created for your approval outlining the structure
of the site.
4) After the flowchart approval the design phase begins.
You will have 3 chances to change the design before
an approval.
5) After the designs are approved they are given to
the production team. Programming continues and is approved
by you.
6) The site is uploaded.
Do you accept credit card payments?
We do accept all major credit cards
including: discover/novus, master card, visa, and american
express.
Can you create secure e-commerce
sites?
Solieworks creates 100% secure e-commerce
web sites. A security certificate must be purchased
in addition to the site contract cost. Typical certificate
cost for one year is $125.
Can my web site have e-mail?
Site e-mail relates to your choice
of web host. Typically, hosting companies offer email
with hosting services. You can have your e-mail any
way you prefer. For example, you could have yourname@yourdomain.com,
or sales@yourdomain.com.
Can I choose my own web host?
We allow clients to choose any web
host. We are comfortable working on Linux, Unix and
Windows Platforms.
Do you provide hosting?
Solieworks does not provide hosting.
We can refer you to hosting companies we work with that
suite your hosting needs.
Can Solieworks design our identity
and business cards?
Solieworks can design your corporate identity.
We can suggest several printers who can create and produce
your printed materials.
Can you get our site on top
of the search engines?
Solieworks can recommend some companies
